Warning: Renu Property Group – Pretoria

We accepted a quotation from Renu Property Group (via Schalk Langeveldt) on 2 July 2025 to remove the existing walls and build a new wall and install Clear View fencing. After paying a deposit of just over R57,000 on 6 August 2025, work started late and only part of the old wall was taken down and a foundation poured. After that, no progress was made, no further building was done and no building materials were ever delivered. From 25 August onwards, no workers arrived on site. Schalk kept making excuses, saying he was looking for a new crew. On 2 September 2025, we cancelled their services and requested a refund of our deposit. Despite daily promises, the deposit has still not been repaid. This company presents itself as professional, compliant, and accredited, but our experience has been the opposite. Based on this, I strongly warn others not to use Renu Property Group – they do not deliver on their promises and in our case have simply taken our money without completing the work.
