Neglectful and potentially harmful practice against the elderly.

Rentoza's decision to disconnect an elderly woman's phone without prior communication is disappointing and raises ethical questions about how companies treat their vulnerable customers.

Her phone was disconnected on the same day of late payment, within 7 hours. She then noticed that she was short 10c in her account and made a paystack payment to Rentoza immediately. Rentoza only restored her connection 3 days after said payment was made.

Service providers have a duty to ensure that their actions do not harm vulnerable customers. Disconnecting a phone line without warning, especially for an elderly person who lives alone, could be considered neglectful and potentially harmful.

It is crucial for service providers to consider the broader implications of their actions and adhere to consumer protection laws that safeguard individuals from unfair treatment. Rentoza is not one of those service providers!
