I would have had a better experience asking a crocodile if I can stick my head in its mouth.

If I could give a negative five-star review, I would. Which genuinely sucks, because Rentoza has a great service on paper. But they feed off the desperation of their client base to offer subpar customer support, worse communication than my high school boyfriends, and a brush-off ability that would make a reality star jealous.

I want to preface this review by saying that we do have one of their products in our home, but we will NEVER use their service again and will actively dissuade anyone who will listen from doing so.

Mid-July 2025: we order a washing machine listed as in stock on their website. Their delivery promise is 45 days - not business days, just days. Please note that it is now 27 September 2025 and we still do not have our washing machine.

A month goes by. My partner emails: “Hey, where’s our machine?” The only response we received for a week was silence. So he emails again, WhatsApps, and bothers their chatbot. Twenty-four hours later - still nothing. I email, WhatsApp, and bother their chatbot. Another 24 hours later - still nothing. Eventually, we tag-team it. He starts getting responses first, even though I had contacted them earlier.

Their response? “No sir, we don’t have stock. Would you like this one instead that we do have in stock?” Yes, fine, whatever.

A few hours later: “Sorry sir, that was dispatched yesterday. I’ll keep you up to date on your order.”

Fine. Whatever. Stock issues, bad admin - I get it. Until 12 September arrives and we get an email: “Your washing machine will be dispatched on or by 23 September.”

My partner manages to get hold of someone on the 22nd, after trying since the 17th. “No sir, your delivery will not happen because we still don’t have stock. It will be at least six weeks before we might get stock.” “Okay, what are you going to do to compensate me for waiting four months for something you promised in one and a half?” “Well sir, you’re not paying for the machine right now.”

Obviously this is incredibly summarised, because if I included the actual conversations, you’d be left wondering how people so *********** and incapable of basic comprehension could hold jobs. You’d wonder how a company with such poor internal structure - one that operates more like a chaotic free-for-all than a professional service provider - is still open to this day.

Want to know the real kicker? Yesterday, my partner and I caved and went with an alternate solution because I cannot wait six weeks to keep handwashing my kid’s clothes. We emailed Rentoza at 2 p.m. By 6 p.m., he had an email acknowledging his cancellation and confirming a refund would be issued.

Rentoza, you are the most inept, ***********, negligent, apathetic, evasive, unresponsive, exploitative, dishonest, disorganised, dismissive, unprofessional, misleading, careless, ********, indifferent, obstructive, predatory, and unreliable company I have ever had the displeasure of working with. And I WILL be taking my complaint further.
