Rentokil wrong diagnosis

I live in Linden Johannesburg. I have a house with various ant heaps and nests but in 2 places in my house the heaps had a white substance in it. Rentokil was asked to see if these are termites or just ants. They immediately said it was termites and quoted me around R10 000 for a treatment that came with a 5 year guarantee.

Within weeks the exact mounts were back and I called them to come and look. A new inspector came and told me it is ant heaps. I told him its the exact same heaps at the exact same location with the white substance still in it. He said that the white substance is paint/cement and that I don't have termites.

Its been a week since he was here and I was told today by their manager that there was no proof that I did not have termites before and that they would give me preferential rates on an ant treatment! The reality is I never had termites in the first place and they should have said so. When checking for termites make sure its not ants and I will not recommend Rentokil to treat it.
