Train your staff
On the 3rd July I swiped my card doing grocery shopping. The transaction was declined. I checked my bank online and a company by the name of CLFT.com debited my account of R1032. And upon scrolling down on my transaction history it seems this company debited my account for 39..as well on the 28th June.
Frantic, I phoned the bank and they told me to go into the bank to dispute those transactions of which I did.
When I arrived at the tokia branch Fadia was the the teller who assisted me. She told me she it looks like I did a purchase on that website. I was a bit taken back because that was the reason I was there in the first place.
She phoned the customer service and instructed me to get an affidavit of which I did, same day and rushed back to the branch and get this sorted.
Another lady Jade was standing at the door taking Walk-in temperature and spraying sanitizer confirmed with Fadia only one application should be given for both transactions.
I left with my bank card and was informed it will take 30 business days.
On Sunday I went to pick and pay to buy milk and bread and the lady at the till said it seemed as though my card expired and of course I had to leave the bread and milk at the till.
I phoned the customer service Wednesday and spoke to Thabo Zwane and he said my application was filled in WRONG. Each dispute transaction requires a application. And also some how the amounts changed from 1032.** to 999,**Again I filled out the application and sent it to him myself. He also advised it takes 14 days.
I phoned the tokai branch this morning I spoke to Jade and informed her they wasted my time and petrol to go into the branch thinking they would assist me. I actually wanted to confirm it cash should be given to get a card but I will not go into that bank again. I have no groceries this whole week and I wasted two business days thinking they know what they doing.
Please train your staff. We are living in a horrible time to drive around wasting petrol and exposing ourselves to the outside just to do it all over again.
