suck a clueless bunch serving the public and handling people's money
in july i filled a fixed deposit form and deposited money with the intention of investing, send through with the ID copy, proof of payment attached on an e mail, i got a response that i have to go to the branch to fill in the waiver form, went there with the original application, ID, proof of residence as well payment just in case they were needed, the teller told me i only need to fill in the waiver form only as per e mail the rest they have on the system, she printed and i signed, came back and rep**** to the mail that i have been to the bank got acknowledgement of that mail as well, yesterday i called in to get clarity on what is happening because as an existing client i thought it would be linked to my saving account, i was shocked to learn nothing has been done and communicated to me because according to them " the documents do not appear on their system so they were unable to open the investment account, and for investment i have to do it inside the branch" if that is so why note state online? it escapes me, even worse the e mail specifically said i must fill in the waiver form in the branch shouldn't they have said " go and apply in the branch" to show they are bunch of confused and *********** lot the teller should have taken the documents i had when i went in for the waiver form, now they want me to come and re apply bring the same documents i had with, but they are failing to tell me what is happening with the interest my money should have been generating whilst they failed to administer the investment as it is their fault.
