Shocking Bidvest Bank account cancellation

Shocking service from this bank. Without any warning they decided to cancel my account of over 10 years for apparently being dormant despite that it had a positive balance! If I hadn't checked my latest emailed statement by chance, I wouldn't even have known about it. And on top, I had to make several calls to have the written-off balance paid back to me! Although I didn't ask for my account to be closed, I am now very glad that I don't have to deal with financial institution ever again!
