Bidvest failing business owners and incentivising tax evasion

Bidvest's system for mandating inward payments on behalf of SARB appears to be broken. But no one at Bidvest is available to acknowledge this, or offer any hope of a solution. A voice mail is not good enough. I’m a small business owner and receive multiple payments over the course of a year from overseas clients. All these payments are duly reported to SARS and the Reserve Bank. We have been in business since 2002. When the latest inward transfer was attempted last week (January 2), we received a Bidvest mandate form for completion, as often happens at the start of a year. We completed as normal but it was rejected for no apparent reason. The money has automatically been returned to the originator bank account overseas. The contact number provided for Bidvest ***) delivers the message “We are reviewing our 2025 mandate form and this has led to an increased volume of enquiries”. It asks for enquiries to be made via email. I have sent three emails without even getting an acknowledgment of receipt. Are they still on holiday? This is failing business owners, incentivising tax evasion and damaging the fiscus.
