Bidvest Bank taking *******'s side

I WAS ****MED by a person pretending to buy a carpet from me. And my bank, Bidvest Bank, whose supposed to protect me.. declined me and took the *****'s side.

I did not give permission for this person to TAKE money from me. According to me I was giving permission to RECEIVE money as per the whatsapps proof I have.

Bidvest could've stopped the payments when they were still pending, but you didn't.

This was not just a R100.00... this was almost R5000.00...

It doesn't matter if a OTP was given or if I gave permission for the transaction. This was my account, my payment. Why don't I have the authority to ask MY bank to stop or reverse a payment.

I am so disappointed.

Don't ever open an account with this bank. They're not on your side.
