Bidvest Bank Business CIRCUS!
The errors, problems, bad customer service ext ext are just piling up over the past couple of months at Bidvest Bank after all was running smooth for a few years. It is purely dealing with a bunch of amateurs and not a bank! The GPO system has constant problems forcing to use the old platform (which is much more efficient, user friend but most of all: IT WORKS! Each single time something goes wrong the client is blamed for wrong doing while Bidvest Bank is nothing more than a source of series of blunders. When lodging a complaint they never get back to you, sometimes the problem is sorted and one has to smell it, sometimes (more not than often) the problem is not sorted and nothing is done about it. 'Management' has no interest, that is quit clear otherwise things would be sorted. The latest which is considered by the supplier and Standard bank is another payment reversal to Namibia (one of many lately). This time we, the client, were not blamed but Standard Bank Namibia stating 'they are not RICA compliant'....Standard Bank gave it a good laugh so did the financial director with whom we are dealing. Furthermore the very same payment was done via FNB...no problem whatsoever. Often suppliers received several payments before and out of the blue suddenly payments are reversed with a hilarious explanation why from Bidvest Bank. I don't know who is running the circus as it is difficult to keep track since Jack and Jill follow up one another faster than us, the client can keep track of. Since Penelope left and those filling her shoes, Jack and Jill are coming up with the most clownesque explanations. For a bank that is branding itself as a business bank specializing in forex, it is a complete joke. Bank of Windhoek is considered to be a foreign transaction while at any other bank it is not, they did not even know that Discovery Bank was existing thus not even loaded on the system as a recipient...common people, what are we busy with????? For this and many other reasons the company must have two business accounts being the second business account with another bank when the wheels come off (on a very regular basis) at Bidvest Bank. I rather put my eggs in one basked from now on, a basket where the client means something and a basket ran by professionals and not amateurs! And Bidvest, don't reply with a copy paste email that you will 'investigate', just sort out your internal problems and system problems first as that is the only answer this client and many other clients expect from you. Your competitors are having a good laugh at the moment, one of them the bank this company is moving to!
