Unrealistic expectations set & need to chase up

6 January: I took my car in for a scratch on the left rear car door & bumper. I am told it will take 5 working days when booking my car in. I was 36 weeks pregnant & needed the car back before my baby arrives. Once we were there, I was told it could take anything from 5 to 10 working days ('worst case scenario'). I said that we needed the car to be repaired as fast as possible as I am heavily pregnant.
14 January: No word from Renew-It. I had only received two texts saying that the parts had been ordered. I call their offices. It had been 7 working days. I spoke with Cherne who said she would check & call me back. She did not.
15 January: I call again and spoke to a manager, Mary-Jane. I lodged my complaint at the length of time that this was taking, the limited feedback & the fact that I was now 37 weeks pregnant. She promised to check and call me back. She did not.
18 January: I call again and speak with Cherne who puts me through to Mary-Jane. She says she will check again to speed things up.
19 January: Still have not received car. 10 working days and counting. I am 38 weeks pregnant and could go into labour any day.

Tired of following up & the run around.
