The only difference between Renew-it and Bush panel beaters is that the latter does not pay rent!

To be honest the only difference between Renew-It Sandton and a bush mechanic is that the former pays rent, has nice offices, with computers and the other one does not have, but the service, workmanship and quality of repairs are the same.

1. My insurance approved the claim on the 29th of January, but what was supposed to be a minor bumper replacement took four weeks!; 2. Even after trying several times to get an estimate from their service consultants on the completion of repairs, my calls were unreturned and my emails went unanswered; 3. When I finally get someone and I demand my car back, I was promised 19th February or 22nd February, guess what? I only got my car back on the 26th February; 4. I wrote a review on Hello Peter, complaining about this, and a service consultant from Head Office called me on the 23rd of February and told me that they will investigate and revert back to me, well, nothing; 4. I got a call on the 25th February to come and collect the vehicle, I explained to the gentleman that I need to be quick about it, as I am also working and need to get to work, well, on the 26th February, I get there and have to wait for checkout service, but that's not all; 5. The quality of the workmanship is what I would have expected from a person who would get paid 10% of what is paid here, the paint job has bubbles, the bumper splitter that is black has white paint on it, the alignment of the replaced parts does not have a uniform gap across, the battery compartment is not closed, and oh the big one, they give me a car that has a caution alarm from the area where the incident happened; 6. I brought all this to the attention of the guy checking out the vehicle, they fixed the lining and the battery compartment issue but others cannot be fixed, I am also pressed for time like mentioned earlier and have no choice but to take a poorly repaired vehicle; 7. Remember how on point number four I was called by a service consultant? Well I get called by another one and while at the panel beater and according to her records my car was collected yesterday and she is looking to do a survey, when I am not singing praises and giving roses about my service, she starts giving me attitude!

In summary the service received here I could have gotten from a bush panel beater at a fraction of the price. As for my insurance, for taking my car where I got such suspect service, I will be cancelling them soon!
