<p>My vehicle was repaired at Renew It in Sandton in November 2015 after it was in accident, they replaced the rear bumper. In August 2016 I noticed the paint on the new bumper had cracks and I took the vehicle to renew it for inspection. Mary Jane inspected the vehicle and confirmed she was satisfied the cracks on the paint were not caused by an impact from an accident. She asked their specialist to confirm her findings but the specialist declined and told Mary Jane to decide how to handle the matter. To which she decided they will repaint the bumper. When I took the vehicle in for repairs on 7 September 2016, Mary Jane took in in the vehicle and gave me a courtesy car and promised to start working on repairs immediately. About half an hour later Mary Jane called to say the workshop is refusing to repair the vehicle because they can see it the paint cracks were cause by an accident. When I came to fetch my vehicle, the person who made this decision was not available to explain how he reached the conclusion that my vehicle was in an accident and what proof he had to make such a decision. I find such behaviour extremely unprofessional and unacceptable from a company such as renew it. How on earth can such treatment be meted to a customer? How can this company make a u turn on its decision to repair my vehicle on such a whim and with no explanation whatsoever?</p>
