RENEW-IT GREENSTONE IS A JOKE

My bakkie went in the end of last year, 2018, for minor accident damage, it was there for almost three months, so when I was told to collect it there were some problems with the paintwork, it was rough and unpolished. I left my vehicle there for two more days then collected it with the panels polished. A couple of months later I noticed some paint work that was done really bad, the shades were lighter and there were water marks under the clear coat. My newly installed headlight was not sealed and got water in, and there was no globe in my park lights.

I then spoke with my insurance, Dial Direct, who told me that this was between myself and Renew-it. I spoke with them and it took 5 weeks of fighting with them before they finally booked in my vehicle. So, my vehicle was there for another three weeks,I got a little impatient as this is a long tie for a little job. When I asked when I can collect it they told me that it would be ready the next day, I follow up two days later and got a response via email stating that my vehicle is ready for collection.

When I got there, my headlamp had fog (water) inside, the stickers on my doors were not there anymore, there were bad polish marks and there was a new scratch on my bumper. I spoke with the owner (Wayne I think) instead of just a manager. He immediately put people to work, they sorted out the headlight and repolished the bakkie, they painted over the scratch on the bumper, but there was only one stick available for my door. I gave him a number for someone in PTA who prints the stickers and had the correct ones available as well. The part on the bumper that they painted was a shade lighter than the actual bumper, they told me that they need to order the correct colour. Who the $%$^ does that??!!?

So after all of this, Wayne told me that he would call me the next morning to confirm whether his sourcing people could get the stickers as they were apparently on their way but would not make it back soon enough for me to wait.

I waited this out, knowing that I wouldn't get a call the next day, after three days I called and asked for him, they put me through to his assistant, the girl said that he is in a meeting and that she will ask him to contact me, I gave her my number and email just to be sure.

Two more days passed, I called again and its the same story, except, this time she told me that I could bring my vehicle back in a week. I explained that I am not happy with this and that Wayne needs to give me a call or send me a detailed email on the reason for this taking so long. I have not heard anything since, and I am not driving all the way there for no reason again.

I have spoken to the person who does the stickers for the vehicles, and he has not been contacted.
