Renew-It and Auto & General do not deliver on their “grand” advertising. Pathetic service.

After having 2 assessments done by Auto and General on 12 June 2023 for damage to my car, I was told to take the vehicle to Renew-it Greenstone for repairs. Renew-it could only see the vehicle on 27 June 2023 (15 days after the Auto and General Assessment) Once arriving at Renew-It Greenstone, I was told the vehicle would have to have a “second” assessment to check for unseen damage. I then received an sms from(Pinky) saying she would keep me posted on progress. I wrote back to Pinky a few times but with no response, only to find out she is on Maternity leave. I phoned Renew-It today, 6 July 2023, only to be told that they are still busy with the assessment and need to revert to Auto and General for the Go Ahead!!!!!! This is now 4 weeks since submission, and repairs have not started! Absolutely pathetic. In the meanwhile, I need to pay for a rental car! The repairs should have been completed by now. I will certainly badmouth Renew-it in terms of customer relations and speed of service. They can still not give me a forecast completion date for the repairs as they have not even ordered parts yet. NEVER take your vehicle to Renew-It for repairs. Likewise, Auto & General insurance brag about their new app! What a load of *******. Again, the so called contact person has yet to reply to my queries as to the state of repair. Service from both parties has been dismal. Stay away from pro ises with no delivery. Totally p……d off!!
