Over a Month for Minor Repairs and Appalling Customer Service
<div>I was assigned to Renew-it Greenstone by my insurer, Budget, and the experience has been nothing short of a complete disaster. What should have been a minor repair job dragged on for over a month, marred by unacceptable delays, zero proactive communication, and deeply concerning incidents involving my vehicle. I dropped off my car on 6 October 2025. Despite the repairs being minor, the car was not ready until well into November. The primary point of failure is their complete disregard for customer service, likely because their business relies on insurance contracts rather than customer satisfaction.
Unprofessional Staff & Communication Breakdown The communication from my service advisor, Pinky, was appalling. She was consistently unreachable, almost always "on another line," and I only ever received an update after I called in—never proactively. The WhatsApp line is useless, since no one ever gets back to you, even when you request a callback. This lack of professionalism was confirmed upon collection when she delegated assistance to someone else and only appeared to collect payment, without offering a single apology for the month-long ordeal.
The receptionist, Shakira, also showed zero understanding. At one point, while I was explaining my deep frustration over the ongoing delays, I distinctly heard the phone being put away, leaving me talking into silence. After a few moments, she returned the phone to her ear. There is clearly no respect for the customer here. The service inconsistencies were numerous and highly alarming:
- Initial Delay: It took a whole week just for the assessment to be completed before parts could even be ordered. - Bizarre Follow-Up: On 23 October (after the car had been with them for nearly three weeks), Pinky actually called me and asked me to bring my car in, seemingly unaware it was already on their premises.
When I finally went to collect the car, the job still wasn't finished. I was forced to wait an extra 30 minutes while technicians polished out scratches they had missed and left on the vehicle. This wait was a final insult following the month of chaos.</div>
