Terrible, Parsimonious Business Practice

I took my car in for repairs, and that part is OK. The issue began when I noticed during the inspection that the front number/ registration plate has a different font size (narrow) than the one I had before (legal bold), even to the rear number plate. Talking about "quality inspection & control." A responsible and observant person could have noticed this variation. They promised to make another one and replace it. They even said, "we will call you once it's done, it will take 5 mins." Furthermore, I noticed they used the old clips; was broken and loose, without replacing new ones. They cause a rattling sound when driving on uneven surfaces. All this is after a +R18k repair, but they are resisting correcting their +/-R300 mistake. Instead, they keep calling, wanting me to rate their service as if my perception will change. I have even asked for a policy clause that says they cannot replace a number place that was there previously.
