Poor Service

<p>My car was brought into Durban Central Panel beaters (DCP) in Oct 2016 for a burst tyre and a missing spare wheel. <br />It took some time for the correct invoice to be prepared for my insurer to pay the claim for the burst tyre. </p> <p>Up till today, I still have not had my spare wheel replaced. I have been without a spare wheel from almost 4 months now. In December 2016, DCP informed me that my insurance had approved the claim for a spare wheel, I immedietly settled the excess due from me. Then when I asked for a date to have the spare wheel fitted, I did not get a response via email, nore via the multiple phone calls I made to DCP.</p> <p>Eventually I was requested to come in for a fitment, when I got there I was very disappointed to learn that I had taken time off work to go fit what I thought would be my spare wheel, when in actuall fact it was just the rim of the tyre. I had asked DCP to confirm before I got there that all the parts required to had been delivered. The box with the 'parts' was only opened when I got there.</p> <p>DCP then said they would request from my insurance to authorise the missing parts, this was in 10 Jan 2017 - still now I do not have a spare wheel.</p> <p>I have made multiple attempts to understand the delays, I have complained, I have escalated this problem but still there is no resolution.</p>
