DO NOT USE RENEW-IT MOUNT EDGECOMBE PANEL BEATERS!!! It’s a total nightmare. The unacceptable service I received from Renew-IT Panel Beaters in relation to my vehicle repair has been terrible. From the outset, the handling of my vehicle was both delayed and poorly managed. My vehicle remained with Renew-IT for several weeks for a scratch, yet upon collection, critical items specified in the repair scope were not completed. Specifically, the window tinting was damaged and the factory-fitted decals were not replaced. Of greater concern is the consistent misinformation I received from Renew-IT. I was repeatedly advised by their Service Manager that the required decals could not be sourced from Volkswagen dealers and were no longer available. I was explicitly told that multiple suppliers had been contacted and that the parts could not be obtained. Despite these assurances, I independently sourced the correct parts from the same Volkswagen dealerships without difficulty. This clearly demonstrates either a lack of effort, negligence, or incompetence on the part of Renew-IT in attempting to procure the correct components. Furthermore, it was evident from proof they sent that an incorrect VIN number was used during their search, which directly contributed to their failure. As a result of Renew-IT’s inability to perform their duties, I was forced to: • Source and purchase the required parts at my own cost • Spend additional time resolving issues that should have been handled professionally • Endure unnecessary delays and frustration This experience has completely eroded my confidence not only in Renew-IT but also in First for Women, who appointed them as an approved repairer. As a result, I am going to cancel my insurance policy, as I cannot rely on the service providers within their network.
