Dissatisfaction
I am extremely dissatisfied with the handling of my vehicle repair involving Pineapple Insurance and Renew-It.
My claim was approved on 19 January 2026, yet to date, the repair process has been unreasonably delayed.
On 20 March 2026, I was advised that my vehicle was in paint preparation. However, on 23 March 2026, I was informed that the vehicle is still in the spray booth, with no clear explanation for the delay or change in progress.
With hope that I will be getting car back, I have also been told on today’s update that the vehicle still needs to be sent out for rear exhaust work, which was not previously communicated and will cause further delays.
Despite multiple follow-ups, I have not been provided with a clear or realistic completion timeline. Communication has been inconsistent, unclear, and lacking transparency throughout this process.
I request urgent intervention from management and a firm, realistic completion date, as this ongoing delay and poor communication are unacceptable.
Thank you for bringing your concerns to our attention. We sincerely acknowledge receipt of your email and regret the frustration and inconvenience you have experienced throughout the repair process.

23 February – I was informed that all parts had been received
24 February – Vehicle was in panel beating stage
11 March – Advised that only one rear valance was delivered instead of two
16 March – Confirmed that all parts had now been received and the vehicle would move to paint preparation , The vehicle progressed to paint preparation and then spray booth
23 March – I was informed the vehicle was in spray booth and scheduled for assembly, Now, after all these stages, I am being told that the vehicle is delayed because the supplier provided an incorrect taillamp. This makes absolutely no sense. How was an incorrect part not identified at the time of delivery on 23 February? How did the vehicle move through multiple stages, including paint and spray booth, without this being flagged?
This clearly points to poor quality control and lack of proper parts verification. I have already raised concerns, yet I continue to receive delayed updates and shifting explanations instead of accountability and urgency. At this point, I have lost confidence in the process.
If this matter is not resolved urgently with a clear explanation and realistic completion date, I will have no choice but to escalate this further to the relevant Ombudsman. I expect transparency, accountability, and a proper resolution.
