Zero integrity from Renault and Liquid Capital
Warning please read before you purchase a Renault. My father purchased 2 Renault vehicles i.e. Kangoo Panel Van and Sandero 900T on the 27/08/2015.
Within 10 months (11 000km) we had a problem with the Kangoo not selecting gears and took the vehicle to Renault Dealership. We were informed that there is a problem with the gearbox and we must pay for the repairs, in spite of the vehicle being under maintenance plan and our driver having over 20 years driving experience – they blamed bad driving to have caused this problem. After weeks of arguements and being desperate for the vehicle we agreed to pay for the repairs which was R11173.70. This was indeed a ******* and was confirmed by one Renault Service Technician.
To add to this we have not had any communication from Liquid Capital who we believe is responsible for service / maintenance.
On 24th October 2017 the Sandero was sent for service, only to be told that the service plan has expired a month ago and we should pay for the service. Liquid Capital was contacted and they were adamant that the vehicle is no longer on the system as the service plan expired a month ago and this was conveyed to me by sms. My response to this question is that they did not have any records of mine and how could they have possibly sent a sms (which I never received).
To me this in only a money making ploy (on both sides) and misleading the public and I strongly feel that people with similar experience should come forward and bring ************ dealers to book.
