Worst service ive received...im over Renault
This is my second Renault im owning , my first being a second hand clio wich I never had any problems with decided to invest in a brand new Sandero 2015 at the time, I had no problems with the car (except for my wipers stopped working on 20000km which they fixed no problem....after my 45000km service is where my problems started....after the service my car started leaking oil I phoned in to report it and was instructed that it might just be the excess oil fromvthe service in the pan I must just keep checking the oil for level changes, few feeks later it became worse so I phoned in to say it was leaking and got booked for them to take a look. So my car went in they found out a seal broke and they had my car for 3 and a half weeks without even being offered a courtesy car once and through out the whole ordeal I probably wasted R150 worth of artime having to phone the company the whole time just to get some feedback on my vehicle, (constantly being put on hold service manager never really knowing whats going on or infact just not caring. A person tends to get a bit out of character but it seems after moaning or complaining they tend to just treat you worse then sorting out the situation... So my car gets sorted out but now im dreading my next service, so I notice after all of the time they had my vehicle its still leaking oil, I report the problem but having not come to best terms the last time my car was there jst get told they will see whats going on for the next service as it has to go in for its next service anyway as its geting close to its 60000 km service, I book an appointment at tokai but get send to Saldanha for work 3 weeks prior to the appointment, on the way to saldanha my car started making a wierd noises from the motor I stop immediately and phone my service manager who instructs me to rather call roadside assistance so they can assess the vehicle before driving further as they know about the oil leak problem as well and when I opened the bonnet there was oil everywhere over all the belts and my whole engine compartment was cluttered with oil. They pick up the vehicle but policy states they can only take it to the closest renault dealer and not Tokai. So its get taken to Renault Paarden eiland for repairs and they agree to do the service as its there and its due anyway..after doing the service I get a call saying my car is finished, where I ask for clarity how it got fixed so quick and is the repair finishes where that oil leak or burst occurred. I get informed that the main mechanic did a test drive and thats everything is in order...me being sceptical ask the lady but what about the oil that went over the belts cuz my friend that isn't even a qualified mechanic told me that rubber wears and gets brittle of in contact with oil I inform the lady about this and with a smug way tells me he did check everything and wont let my car go if it wasnt in driving order, me not being a mechanic agrees even apologising to the lady for asking....(I took a R180 uber to Paarden eiland as well as the couldn't come and pick me up) On my way home after picking up my vehicle half way home my car starts making that same noise I phone the lady I jst picked my car up from who tells me to drive it home and phone for roadside to come pick it up again and as I'm speaking to her I hear a noise and all the lifgts go on,on my dash(emergency lights) and when I open my bonnet there was oil again everywhere and my accessory belt snapped. Me being quite bleak after my car jst broke after I instinctively asked if shes sure my car is fine quite ****ed me off alot, because now which could have been a minor problem jst became a major problem, my car goes in again for almost 4 to 5 weeks where again no courtesy car was offered I am quite sour towarda Renault as now ive wasted ample amount of my own time and alot of airtime just to try and find out whats going on and then having no other means of transport almost wasted more than a R1000 on uber while not having my vehicle. Inbthe midst of all the drama Paarden eiland Renault and Tokai Renault are fighting for who is at fault because of the earlier oil leak that caused all of the mechanical fualts to happen (somthing about them not checking the gasket when repairing the oil seal....long story short I finnaly get my car back after almost 7 weeks of having to organise my own transport , my car gets delivered to me and now my window wipers( which was fine before all of this started all of a sudden don't work, so now having to book another appointment with Renault Tokai to fix it jst after getting my car back is frustrating enough. Its been 3 weeks now without having working window wipers ive taken my car in twice where before I book the appointment im being told the part is there and when my car goes in I get a call later the day when I expect to pick up the car im being told that they ordered the wrong part or that part is not there? I dnt know who these people think theyvare but I have a life and a job so for me to take of at work or make plans to take in my car on an appointment day and then to mess me around like this disgraceful to the company as a whole and has distorted my imgae of Renault where I can only look at them now with negativity and feel this is the only way forward to get adequate feedback.
