Will not be cheated

I purchased my wife a Renualt Clio 4 Expression Turbo in May 2015 and on recommendation from the dealer took out an additional maintenance plan to cover for unforeseen eventualities. These eventualities occurred much much sooner than I envisaged. I followed every instruction required of me to maintain the car's health and even took the vehicle in for 10000km as it requested , only to be informed to ignore that message as it is only at 15000km. A few month ago at just over 12000km the vehicle service "spanner" came on and it had a pecu**** burning smell. I contacted the towing company and had the vehicle taken to the Service Centre Franchise in Paarden Eiland. I explained everything to the agent "Shafik" at the time and also informed him that the tow truck driver hinted that it could be the clutch. He had it " tested" ( I don't know what this entailed) but requested I collect the vehicle and reported that no fault could be established on their check of the car. Flabbergasted I reluctantly took the vehicle with the burning smell still evident at the time. At 15000km I took the vehicle in for its first service and again requested that they do a thorough check as the same thing happened again. The car was again given a clean bill and returned to me with no faults of any kind found. Approximately a 1000 km later the car got stuck on an incline and refused to respond without a high rev in all gears. I immediately returned it to Paarden Eiland for repair as was now and evident major fault. A week later I was sent a few pictured by Shafik saying the clutch is burnt and the rivets were burnt off and that this is not a manufacter fault hence the warranty will not cover. Confused I enquired ....how...he then remarked that it is due to poor driving habits....Insulted by this remark I informed him that both me and my wife have been driving for years both new and second hand vehicles and did not appreciate his insinuation. He also furnished me with a R10000 quotation to have it repaired , which really infuriated both my wife and myself as this was not a cheap second hand or demo purchase. After numerous request to resolve this matter he informed us that he was now awaiting authorization from the maintenance insurer " liquid capital" . This was followed by the most bizarre response I have yet experienced from this company " Please be advised that we are rejecting this clutch due to not normal wear and tear at such low mileage" ....Huh ....Really ??? This thing has been a problem as of a lower mileage and could have been sorted out much earlier if it was adequately checked in 2 previous occasions and you would prefer this problem at a higher mileage ....I am lost for words. It is now going on 2 weeks and my wife and I are forced to resort to dangerous public transport system during cold winter days and I cannot accept that this brand , which comes so highly recommended resolves to such ********* methods to ******* clients to sustain a franchise. I cannot , no will not take this response without resorting to every avenue available to me to fight this stupidity.
