Why I'll never buy a Renault again, and I'll advise you not to either
I have been stuck without a car for 7 days. My car broke down on 23rd May 2021 and it taken to the Glen Renault. I was called was informed that the ignition and starter was broken and it will take 21 days to repair the car. The service agent (Gladness) advice that she will submit a claim in order to get a courtesy car and it should take 48 hours.
I called after 48 hours as no one ad contacted me with regards to the progress, I was than informed that I should wait 5 days. I called again after 5 days and was informed to wait 7 days, with no one calling to notify me of the progress.
I called again on day 7 and was informed I should call Renault South Africa. Upon calling Renault South Africa after been on hold for 1 hour, I managed to get through however it was the wrong department (Warranty department). Alex put me through however the phone did not even ring.
I am still waiting for the claim documents from Gladness but no luck. I am never buying Renault again.
