warrnty declined

Warranty declined i bought a vehicle in September 2020 vehicle is still under warranty of which they declined due to a water bottle cap that as per them someone has used excessive power to close the botlle and the vehicle is now on 74989 km still under warranty,engine overheating warnig light never came on just stopped and cluster showed "CHECK ENGINE"
