Used car sold as brand new

I bought a "brand new" Renault Kwid in May 2017 at Renault Northcliff. Being a woman I so excited and signed my papers and drove off. Last week the brakes started giving off a terrible sound and, this raised alarms as this is a new car. My brother then checked the car mileage on the car (something i would not even look at as I know this is a brand new car). We then discovered that the car is on 16 550 kilometers, I nearly fainted, taking into consideration that this is a brand new car that I mostly drive to work. I work exactly 10 min from home. I've only been out of the province once to KZN. So if you do the math, the mileage is extremely ridiculous on this 4 month old car i bought. How can this car with it's very short history already be overdue for service n already need brakes replacement and what not. Is a big mystery

I am very disappointed with Renault, and I someone needs to do some serious explaining.
