Unsatisfactory workmanship at Renault Atlas Road.

In the past I had a brake issue on my Renault Clio where they would make a squeaky sound and when I went to Renault Atlas road, I was told it is a dust issue. They had just fitted the brakes and I was told when I hear the sound I can come there to get them cleaned and I need not to book.

On Friday I went to get the brakes cleaned/checked because they have been making the sound. They pushed back on cleaning the breaks telling me I need to book the car in, turning back on their word. Eventually after some push back from my side to honour what they promised they cleaned the brakes.

Then I left the service center and got home, later that day as I was heading somewhere the car gave me a problem. The steering wheel didn't auto unlock as it usually does when I get into the car. It displayed a "check your vehicle" sign then a "insert key card to unlock steering" , I did that but the steering didn't unlock. The next morning the road side assistance people came and towed the vehicle to the dealership, the dealership assumed it is an electrical fault. The manager, James, wasn't sympathetic to my situation and they told me they can only look at the car on Monday and they do not have courtesy vehicles to loan me.

I am beyond angry with this as I took my car to them to clean the brakes and the car comes back with electrical faults which result in locking the steering wheel. I can only attribute this to poor workmanship. Right now I have low satisfaction on renault as a brand as to how can you work on a car and then there are more issues which never existed, also I am now immobile without a car until they resolve this and they do not even have a loan vehicle to loan me while they have my car. And they not even trying to find a resolution for me to be on the road while they have my car which I paid for....
