Unhappy Customer (Vehicle Not Licensed)

To whom it may concern,

I purchased my vehicle in August 2015 at Renault Princess Crossing.

On Tuesday the 13th of September 2016, I went to the Licensing department to renew my license disk. Only to be referred back to the dealership as my vehicle was only registered and not licensed. I went to the dealership provided them with all the evidence and documents that the licensing department provided me. The sales representative that sold me the vehicle told me that he will get this sorted out. And we booked my vehicle in for the Roadworthy test on the 16th of September 2016. On the 14th of September, I had to follow up with the dealership to find out what is happening with my licensing. The sales representative then notified me that he will provide me with the registration form and that my financing company would have not provided them with the documents if the Registration & Licensing was not completed. So I contacted the licensing department and spoke to the gentleman that referred me back to the dealership. He notified me that he will speak to Renault dealership, as he had all the proof that the dealership did not do what they were supposed to do. I once again phoned Renault and gave them the licensing departments contact person so that they can resolve it. On the 15th of September, I followed up once again to find out what is happening with my licensing. The sales representative notified me that they did make a mistake, however they will get this resolved when my vehicle is booked in on the 16th and will get the Roadworthy test done & licensing. Today the 16th my vehicle went in for the service & roadworthy test. Only to receive a second call from the sales representative notifying me that I needed to do the licensing they only had to do the registration. So in actual fact I received two calls where Renault wanted to throw this query back to me to resolve and trying to palm off the responsibility of the licensing to me, after confirming they made a mistake. This is not correct as the registration & licensing should be completed by the dealership when I purchased my vehicle more than a year back. Nowhere in our agreement was there any such arrangement, in actual fact they notified me that they were busy with my licensing when I drove my vehicle of the floor. Nowhere in my OTP was there any mention of this either. After I lost my temper with the sales representative, now only are they going to get this sorted out. Why do clients have to go to these extremes for a query to be resolved. This is actually the worse service I ever received from any dealership when purchasing a vehicle. If Renault Princess crossing had any sense of Customer service they would have offered the customer with a courtesy vehicle until this query was resolved. Now I need to drive with a vehicle that has not been licensed until this matter has been resolved. However I am notifying the dealership now that if I receive any fines it will come your way as well.

My request is that this matter gets resolved immediately. And please work on your customer service experience and complaints resolution process.

From: A very unhappy and irate customer
