Safety concerns on a brand new vehcile

I recently bought a new vehicle Renault Sendaro Stepway in June 2015, a very well trusted brand in it's safety, technolody and comfort. But I have to say what happened while driving the vehicle has changed my perception about the saftey of the vehicle and the trust I had for the brand, this has threatend my life, my family's safety, I cannot express how disppointed I am, I am terrified to even drive that vehicle again, I really need someone senior at Renault to discuss this safety concern of mine, I have taken the vehicle back to the dealership. This is a safety issue which Renault may have to seriously consider addressing to never happen or occur again.
