RENAULTS are a danger on the road

I bought a Renault KWID in May 2018 from Renault Centurion. The sales experience was a horror story of it's own. The car made a sound when I turned sharply, but I was told that is what the KWID sounds like.

I decided never to go back to Renault Centurion ever again. When in became time for my car's 15 000 km service in December 2018, I took it to Renault Silverlakes. After the service warning light starting coming on while driving. I took the car back to Renault Silverlakes and was told it was due to a fault on the petrol pedal and that it is a manufactures fault with a lot of the KWIDs. After a lot of frustration the petrol pedal was replaced. Driving from the service center the lights came on again, I turned around and was told that they just need to reset the settings or something. I had to turn around twice that day to get my car "sorted".

Renault SA followed up whether I am satisfied with my car, I told them that the car is sluggish and at times it feels like it is not getting petrol.

The car was booked in at Hatfield for them to go through it. They adjusted the settings on the petrol pedal and phoned me to inform me that the sound on the steering is due to a fault on the steering rack. I week and a half later I went to collect my car. I did not use it much over the weekend.

Yesterday on my way home I changed lanes to overtake a car, I gave a little more petrol to speed up a bit and the petrol pedal got stuck while the car kept on accelerating. I had to battle to try and get it loose with my foot while trying to avoid crashing into another car on the highway. It was really a scary situation and at this point I have come to believe that Renault cars are a danger on our roads!!
