Renault Triber broke down

This morning I got stuck on my way to work because my vehicle Renault Triber got stuck, the vehicle was towed to Renault Cresta. Renault Cresta just advised me that i need to pat R12000 because my clutch plate is damaged. The vehicle is not a year old and it went for a service 2 months ago. I am stuck and I don't know how to get home, I don't even have R12 000. Why was the faulty clutch not picked up when the vehicle was service?????
