Renault South AfricaPoor Customer Service
Hi, I write this to express my disappointment with Renault and her stakeholders for failure to resolve an anti-pollution sensor fault in my Renault Clio. I have sent the vehicle more that 3 times but the fault still persists. Everytime I have to send the vehicle I have to drive from Eswatini to Johannesburg (Renault Roodepoort), paying for the fuel, paying for covid test, paying for accommodation, food, tollgate and other associated costs. When this issue occured for the first time, they even charged us to reset the vehicle claiming that we were the cause of the faul through changing the vehicle battery which is what they advised us to do. We explained our stand to them in that the fault message showed up weeks before we even changed the battery but that explanation went through deaf ears. This is so frustrating because we have to part-way with +-R4000 everytime we take the car to them. Sometimes when even trying to send emails they don't even respond which make us feel like they don't care about the inconvinience that is caused by their vehicle to us. Recently, i.e 16 June 2021, I sent an email to *********** trying to establish a communique with then so as find better way of resolving the fault but he/she never responded up to this date. Hence, we feel like the brand lacks good customer service and professionalism. It is so stressful owning/dealing with this brand, especially when they are failing to resolve mechanical problems that are associated with their own vehicles. How I wish to get rid of them and try others that will atleast respect, take their customers serious and address faults associated with their vehicles professionally without blame games.
