Renault SA, sick and tired of this.
Here with the original mail I have sent to Renault regarding my incident. " "I would like to inform the Renault Group regarding an incident which happened to me last weekend. This I would think Renault group would like to know.
Whilst drive on hospital bend (highway, Cape Town, South Africa) middle lane. My car sparked up in front left corner of my bonnet and smoke started bellowing into my car through my vents.
After the spark, I lost my steering and breaks, I then had to force the car to side of the road and pull up my hand break to stop. My first reaction was to try and break through my drivers side window because I lost my steering and breaks. Once I could not break the window because of smash and grab tint, I then only pushed the button to unlock the car which worked." "My car was a 2014 model with +/- 60000km on the clock. Full service history and no our incidents regarding car to report.
I would like to know Renault feedback on this traumatic incident and sure Renault would like to understand it as well for further safety of there clients.
Please provide the Correct contact persons for Renault SA and Renault global.
Kind Regards" its has been more than 1 year and half since incident, i have lost my car and since then it has effect my work as well. I have had 55 email response form Renault SA, they have been absolutely pathetic, you would think a brand of this caliber would deal with this matter correctly. I bought this car brand new and full service history. Renault will take no responsibility and i have had enough. Utter bull****, i have lost enough now. I have images to follow including CCTV still images, seems like renault has already gotten to city and romoved the video footage.
