Renault SA Customer Care does NOT CARE
I hate complaining on a public forum but I have extensively tried to engage Renault SA through their website, through their customer care line, by sending emails to their customer care managers, trying to contact the dealership workshop manager and phoning their customer care managers directly. Yet, I have not yet received any feedback in relation to my issues. More than 2 weeks ago my Renault Duster was towed to Renault Fourways, after much back and forth and incorrect diagnosis of the problem, the workshop replaced my vehicle's starter and battery. The lack of communication from the dealership was shocking and for a whole week, I was left uncertain as to the state of my vehicle unless I phoned them. Once I collected my vehicle, the workshop had left a part from another vehicle in my car (a touch screen radio display, my car doesn't have a touch screen), the workshop also left one of their tools in my vehicle (a multimeter), I also noted that they didn't even take the time to insert the radio code after disconnecting and reconnecting the radio (I had to phone Renault SA to get this code as the dealership kept cutting me off), and they didn't set the time on my dash display, I also noted that one of the ropes that keep the cover of my boot up is missing. I have been trying to engage Renault SA in order to get the part and tool back to the dealership and to have the other issues sorted but no one takes my calls or responds to my messages. The service I received has left me with very little confidence in my Renault and that it was actually fixed properly.
