Renault SA and Renault Fourways - Poor service and No customer service at all. RENAULT SA SHAMEFUL?
To whom it may concern,
I have had a really bad experience with Renault Fourways and Renault SA has not been helpful at all.
Shortly after taking my car in for 60 000km service I have been having serious issues with my car not starting . This has placed the safety of my wife and kids at significant risk.
I have taken the car 7 times !!! 7 times to the dealership and they have failed to fix it. They have replaced multiple things , straightened out pins as part of their GUESSWORK!!
They replaced relay switch and solution temporary and starts again and last week replaced the sensor for starting vehicle and the problem got worse to the extent it was towed yesterday. Now car is not starting AT ALL!!!
In this whole ordeal at no stage did Renault Fourways keep in contact.
So yesterday they call and guess again that my key has low memory and therefore is the issue. Went there at 5pm and that was not the issue again as they were still guessing. No contacting Global or head office for help at all. THEY JUST DON'T CARE especially Coenie , the workshop manager there , really poor customer service. IN 7 TIMES NOT ABLE TO DIAGNOSE PROBLEM.
So today I get a call to inform me that I need to pay R12000 as my warranty has been voided due to accident damage. WHAT????? They claimed from my warranty last week on the sensor !!! So today how is my warranty now voided. I had an accident in Jan 2019, side impact so nothing to do with the upfront and I have been taking my car to Renault Fourways and they have been claiming on warranty to fix things when I take it in for service so no problems. But now today I need the starter/starting issue my warranty is voided.
I was not offerred a courtesy car yesterday when I was stuck for transport and basically told to "make" a plan. Coenie again from Fourways dealership along with Nash from sales.
Further today I can't get courtesy car due to warranty being voided due to accident damage and we are in December 2020 for something that happened in Jan 2019 and had nothing to do with ENGINE! How do they know it is due to accident damage as they are not insurance assessors or investigators.
Renault Customer care Stephen Sehume to me I can go to Ombudsman if I want and I would like to , but not before I lodge my complaint on this platform.
I have tried unsuccessfully tried to contact Renault SA CEO. Phone rings and no one picks up at head office. Please can Renault SA CEO contact me as I now deserve this.
I demand my car get fixed and Renault should stop hiding behind warranties etc. They promise the world when you buy car and when you need them,??? Where did they go!
I demand an answer and my car to be fixed today. I need a courtesy car.
Renault SA where is your customer service??
My contact number is ***. My car reg is FS19TTGP
