Renault roodepoort

I am driving a Renault kwid that i bought at roodepoort dealership in 2019, i took the car to the dealership to sort out the gearlink problem that was caused by the car battery that leaked acid to it and only the battery was changed, they are refusing to change the gearlink cable and said it is not covered by the 5 years warranty and i must pay for it, the problem was caused by the car battery that leaked acid and not by me, so question here is what else is not covered by this 5 years warranty on the car.
