The service at this branch is so pathetic. A first I went to service my vehicle, they had to fix the navigation on the radio as well. The afternoon I got the car, the service was done. To my surprise the service book was not stamped.

I got in the car, tested the navigation on the Renault Duster. I was not working still. I had to walk in to go and enquire as to why its not fixed. They told me to come back to weeks later so as to update the software which they never had at the time.

Fast forward, I go at the dealership again to update software as I was told. I was then told the software couldn't fix the problem. I must come back another time so that they can change the whole radio. They first had to do a claim through warranty.

I was told a radio has been ordered after warranty approved the claim, I kept calling to check if the radio is at the dealership. I was told a month later that the parts were never ordered. They ordered the parts and I booked the vehicle in. I was told that I have to pay 25% of the claim which amounted to R 4800 because the vehicle was late for 90 000 km. I wanted to find out the relation between a radio not working and a late service. I was told there is no correlation, that they understand but according to the terms and conditions you have to pay a penalty even if the late service has no impact on a non-functioning radio.

The new radio was installed. I worked for a day and switched off, m suspecting that this was due to the battery. I switch it on and it requires a radio code. I put in the old radio code, it was not working. I call them to request a new radio code. I had just been advised to bring in the vehicle so that they can check the new radio code as they do not have it.

As the client you leave countless messages in the process and no one ever bothers to get back to you. As the one who has a problem, you just have to suck it up and keep calling them until you come right.

It is so frustrating and irritating to endure such pathetic service.
