Renault not taking responsibility for their mistakes.

I have been struggling with Renault for the past 7 months now.

In June 2017 my car went in for a service at Renault Woodmead, a few weeks after I got it back my oil filter got loose and my engine got damaged. My car then went in for repairs at Renault Fourways to redo my entire engine. I got my car back three months later. I drove around with the car like always and over the festive season I decided to go to Polokwane for a holiday. When I arrived in Polokwane I noticed that I am struggling to change gears.

I took my car in for a check up at BB Auto Renault Polokwane on the 2nd of January 2018. The report came back, and stated that my gearbox had a leak and it damaged my sixth gear, they had to repair it. Whilst it was there I had to get back to Johannesburg because I started working again on the 8th of January 2018. When asked for a complimentary vehicle BB Auto said they do not give complimentary vehicles but I can phone Renault South Africa to get this sorted for me.

I then phoned Renault South Africa to speak to them, They basically just responded saying they can't help me as the car would not be there for longer than 21 days (it was there for 30 days). I had to find my own way back to Johannesburg.

I have an email where they state the same.

The 30th of January 2018 I receive a phone call from BB Auto Renault stating that my car had been successfully fixed. I asked the person if they had done all the quality checks to make sure my car is back to normal. Upon driving the car for the first time in Johannesburg after I got it back there was a horrible noise in the car. It sounded like there was metal scratching against metal on the front left passenger wheel. I took the car in again this morning to see if they can resolve the issue. My point is that my car has been in 3 different workshops for almost 4 months now, where obviously, I pay my monthly installments diligently and just get rude responses when I speak to most of the staff at Renault. BB Auto was the only branch that contacted me to state the progress of the car. With both Woodmead and Fourways, I had to call them to find out what was going on after not hearing anything after a whole month.

I am quite fed up with this and would like to get it resolved. I am very happy with the Duster as a car and it is an amazing drive but I am extremely upset and disgusted with the Renault's customer service.
