Renault Kiger

Renault Clearwater and their Head Office are the worst. I purchased a Renault Kiger Intens 2022 model brand new from these guys and a week after purchase it was making horrid grinding noises on the brakes when pressed and released. I was told the type of brakes components used by manufacturer were the cause of this and all kigers make such noises and clients must replace breaks at their own costs to ATE brakes with no asbestors, which makes no sense if they are aware of this issue prior to selling the cars to their clients. That means they are knowingly selling vehicles that are faulty and want clients to foot the cost of fixing these cars once purchased. Nonetheless, I complained to Renault about this multiple times about the horrid noises. I even advised that the brakes not holding well was more than just a component issue, as it was causing friction on the braking mechanism especially on one side of the vehicle, with one brake pad finishing way faster that all the components which they must assess. I have had to take the car to other dealerships for advice as Renault keeps wanting to play a blame game and not assisting or acknowledging their car is faulty or fully investigating why the brakes are making such noises+not holding properly once pressed. I had break failure on the car twice already which I complained about but Renault has refused to assist or investigate thoroughly. Extremely disappointed with Renault Clearwater and their head office and their lack of concern in safety for their customers. They must recall these Renault Kigers as I had a colleague involved in an accident due to this brake issue with the exact same vehicle model as they were unable to hold the brakes when they had to stop at a T junction due to the same problem, car is a complete write off and Renault made no efforts in helping the client when they complained about it prior to the accident. It is very concerning that even when clients are complaining about the vehicles Renault isnt offering any tangible solutions.
