Renault just cant make good stuff and customer support
Last week Thursday our car broke down mid drive. Smoke came out and everything at on 44000km for a brand new Duster. Renault came to pick up the car the Friday morning. We phoned once on Friday but no feedback was available. Monday we phoned - no feedback. Tuesday we phoned they managed to indetify a flat battery. This is 2 and a half days after the car was towed. Wednesday we phoned. They have identified the starter as something that got damaged but it will only get fixed Friday morning. In the meantime I ask them to get a diagnostic of what is wrong and find out is we are able to receive a vehicle in the meantime to assist. I phone back two days later after receiving no communication back from the Wednesday. With most of my enquiries regarding our car I am greeted with silence. My airtime runs out and I devide to call the customer service line. It took 40 min for someone to answer. My phone was nevee on hold and the person answering was clearly out of breath. On the recorded call I asked her to repeat the trading hours and asked her why no is available 8:45 in the morning. I received no response. I was told I could I expect a return call after 1 hour I used the online chat forum to receive the email address of the complaints manager Brett. I sent in total 3 emails of which I received read receipts but Brett never called and never had the decency to respond to my emails. To get an answer o Renault shoddy workmanship I had to call thier customer care line 5 times, their service department, 5 times, email their laughable manager Brett 3 times, chat with Regi with hours and use facebook twice. Ask hourself this is this how yoi want to struggle everytime you need support? The moment they sell thay **** bucket they rub their hands clean. Dont fall for them you will regtret it I promise
