Renault Is Failing Its Customers

Renault Clearwater are the worst ever! I had an overheating car and happened to be nearby; I drove past for assistance. They refused to help me and chased me away and told me to make a booking, which I did, but they gave me a faraway date. When my car went in, they called me and told me I need to replace the entire engine for R200,000.00! I said they're crazy because that's a price for another car, and it's way beyond the current value of my car. I had to beg them to share the report or inspections that led to that conclusion. As someone with a bit of car knowledge, I asked them questions, which they failed to answer. They gave me a runaround, and I decided to fetch my car (still driving) and took it elsewhere. All they know is to make profit and cash in as much as possible. They don't even offer advice and help customers understand the situation; all they do is guess work!!! Their other branch in Princess put the wrong spark plugs the one time they serviced my car. I don't trust Renault agents anymore, and I'll never buy their brand again, nor advise anyone to buy from them. Their aftermarket service is the pits.
