Renault/Imperial Gross Incompetence

Our New Duster (2500 km on the clock) showed the engine warning light on Sunday 1/11/15. We took it in on Monday 2/11/15, and the diagnosis, which took almost a week, indicated a faulty injector on Cylinder No 3. At this point no-one can give us a clear indication of when the car will be fixed, and it was mentioned at one point that it could take 3-4 weeks to get the parts from France.<br> No-one looked at the possibility of swopping the part from another vehicle, just as a temporary measure.<br> It is unbelievable that such a part is not carried by the dealer, or even by Renault South Africa, having sold thousands of these vehicles. Their slogan is \Passion for Life"- what a lot of bull!<br> The lacklustre approach by the dealer has been shocking"
