Renault Clio Terrible car and service

To Whom it may concern:

My wife purchased a brand new Renault Clio from Renault Princess Crossing in 2016 (cash).

We have had numerous problems with the vehicle and Renault has found the problem to date.

The car has been in the workshop over 6 times this year and they cannot fix the problem. I have picked up the vehicle 3 times where I was told that the vehicle has been fixed and I will now have no further problem.

The brakes on the vehicle are faulty, it sounds like the wheels are going to fall off when the brakes are app****, they have replaced the discs and the brake pads numerous times but still no luck, the vehicle is a danger on the road. My wife has missed 3 accidents due to the poor quality of the car and the negligence of the Dealership.

The last visit to the dealership was last week. The car was there for almost a week, no one from the dealership contacted me to give me feedback on the vehicle. I eventually rocked up at the dealership to find out what is going on, and they told me the problem has been resolved the noise is not there anymore, only to find out halfway home that the noise is still the same yet again I had to drive with it in this state.

Unfortunately there has been no change, it is as if they never fixed the vehicle. so today 5th July I went back to the dealership and they Informed me that they will now contact head office ( this is only now after they have worked on my vehicle for the last 6 weeks ) for them to come and drive the vehicle to confirm the problem, I told them I do not want to drive this car in this state, and they then advised me that they have no vehicle to provide me with while they await my vehicle to be checked. I was then forced to drive the vehicle yet again as I don’t have other transport, I have to drive plus minus 85km a day and I will hold Renault responsible for any accidents should there be any and I will take it further should anything happen to myself.

I am highly upset about the non-existent service from Renault if I am not mistaken we are actually still awaiting the registration documents from when the car was bought 1 year ago!!

We can never get hold of this office nor head office, we are on hold for 30 minutes each time we call them, it is pathetic,

My wife’s pregnant with our first child and cannot drive around with this vehicle, it is a hazard on the road, the brakes slip, it sounds like there are no brakes when brakes are app****, and the people at the dealership do not give a rats **** about our safety.

If I do not get a replacement vehicle, until this matter has been dealt with before the end of July 6 2017 then I will go legal with this matter, hopefully the motor ombudsman can assist.

My desired outcome on this would be a replacement vehicle – new vehicle without problems, or a full refund on the money we spent to purchase this vehicle.

I have spoken to quite a few Renault owners and the level of service they all receive is shocking, THERE IS NO SERVICE!
