Renault after sales service... What a nightmare...

I bought a second hand Renault at the beginning of 2017. From the SECOND I agreed to buying the car i have had NOTHING but nightmares.

Best before sales service in the entire world. was made to feel like a king... then I said " agree to this sale"... lets start off with the fact that the Salesman confirmed that the car had just over 9000 KM ( as was on the adverti*****t as well ) on the clock. Upon receiving the paperwork the actual reading was just over 19 000KM. At this point i should have stopped the deal but was stupid and continued... 3 iterations of paperwork later the figures and dates were corrected ( over charging me first, getting the dates wrong on warranty expiration and blatantly forgetting entries on the invoice ). Again, should have pulled out of the deal... Then they literally lost my car.. for 5 days the dealer had no idea where my car was ( was being transported from Cape Town to Centurion )... Receive the car, all is well for about 3 days before the nightmare really started.

Fast forward 2 and a half years and the car has been back to Renault 18 times for various things ranging from a (still) broken speaker, a (still) broken entertainment unit to the passenger door's closing mechanism having the *****s so loose that they nearly fell out ( took Renault only 3 tries to find the rattling noise on the left hand side. )

I have been called a ****, " wasting their time ", threatened to be billed for warranty repairs, waited over 2 hours for a Renault assist tow truck to jump start the car, been forced to UBER to work for multiple days on end because they could not be bothered with giving decent service.

Simply put, i will never in my entire life buy another Renault. mechanically and technologically the car is magnificent and despite the terrible service i have received to keep it going i still love that car ( and trust me, this thing needs maintenance A LOT) . However the after sales experience has made it so that i will never in my entire life buy another Renault ( or anything associated with Renault - RIP Kia ) and will share my experience with every single person i meet while at Renault( I'm there a lot ) to stop them from making the same mistake.

Then. just to add insult to injury the car has depreciated so much that in the last year the book value has dropped R80 000 making it impossible to even get rid of the car and buy something that works.

I am honestly just considering opening a case with the CPA as it cannot be legal to call what i have received even remotely decent service.
