Renault After Sales Department

Renault was rated ten out of the top 1fifteen OEMs in December 2024 (source NAAMSA New Car Sales). The NAAMSA March 2025 showed that Renault had dropped to twelfth place. Excellent after-sales service is of paramount importance. A happy customer will tell 5 people that they are very happy with the after-sales service, and these 5 friends will pass this message onto 5 of their friends...and so on, WOM. More people complain about poor service so the dissatisfied customer will tell 10 friends who will tell their 10 friends ...and so on. I am one of those dissatisfied customers. During my car's yearly service in January I complained about a rattle that eminated from the area of the front passenger seat. This was due to the seat frame and would get replaced as the warranty was still valid. Renault approved this placement. However is was a Renault APPROVED part, not a Renault ORIGINAL seat frame. The rattle did not go away. I have phoned the after sales department a number of times as well as popping in when I had a chance. Renault SA has STILL not approved the fitment of a Renault original seat frame, even though the car is under warranty. This has gone on for just on 3 months. The Renault Consumer Satisfaction Score is at risk here. Renault unit sales for December 2024 sat at tenth position out of the top 15 OEMs. In March 2025 Renault had dropped to 12th position out of the top 15. (Source: NAAMSA reports for new car sales) This is the third Renault that I have owned and it will be the last. The consumer journey experience has dropped significantly. My compaint has been told to 10 people who will tell 10 people... and so on. I have now put it on Hellopeter and not social media, yet.
