Raw Deal (Voetstoot). Unfair sale

My daughter bought a car on the 20th of October 2015 at the above-mentioned dealer. She is currently at dealer as the car indicates that it has a battery and an engine fault. The dealer dos not want to take ownership of the problem as they are indicating that the 14 day period has lapsed for her to return the car. The car is hardly three months since it was bought. They say that she must pay R750 for them to check the car and the battery will cost her R950. This is unfair sale as the customers was not informed of 14day period. they only want to give a roadworthy certificate today. Today is the 17th of December and the dealer cannot commit to repair the damages. We need intervention at a senior management level.
