Problem after problem, Service Sucks!

I purchased a Renault Clio (from Pinetown) which has been into the Amanzimtoti Service centre time after time with issues that re-occur and new issues that pop up as well as big issues that I feel should not have happened on a relatively new vehicle with such low mileage (38000km). This last time the vehicle was with Renault for over a week and there was issue after issue getting hold of information on the status and when a curtesy vehicle can be used to get to and from work etc.… we were only informed ¾ into the process that we have to wait 10 days after a part has been ordered before this can happen. So in the meantime, must we walk to work??

During this whole process I go back to Renault Amanzimtoti and buy a company car, the Duster. Again here we go with terrible after sales service, the driver’s side carpet is wet all the time to the point where it is turning white and smells like cat urine, there are rattles and squeaks all over, the inner roof lining above the head is coming away from the roof. When I brought this to the attention of all of this I was informed that I would get a call to let me know when a curtesy vehicle would be available for two days so I can bring the car in for repairs. I work as an estate agent and rely on my wheels to be able to do my job. I hear nothing for a whole week and when I phone now the manager does not take my calls. He allows the front desk lady to take all the upset and shouting when she can’t make any decisions and is not the issue here, and she should not be handling these types of calls on behalf of the manager on issues this serious. So a brand new car has a water issue that has not been resolved, with a rotting carpet, all these noises that has not been resolved, a roof lining issue etc. Should a new car have all these issues?? What is the consumer act with regards to handing this car back considering how long we have to go on the warranties etc. if after only a few weeks we already have all these unresolved issues?

I need someone who can tell me how to get this sorted without the stories and stalling tactics that I seem to be facing constantly with Renault.
