Power steering faulted car - Refusal to replace car/cancel car deal

I bought a Renault Clio 4, BLAZE LTD from Renault Centurion on the 27th April 2016 (brand new car). Within 3 days of purchase the car indicated a "power steering fault" and I called in the sales person who requested I bring the car back to the dealership. I was in Limpopo at the time so I returned the car on the 1st of May 2016 (after 5 days of purchase). There were no meachanics at the dealership at the time so the manager asked me to leave the car with them. When the mecahnics gt a chance to look at the car during the week, they were unable to detect the source of this power steering fault and only on the 2nd/3rd week, they called Renault SA for assistance. The manager never gave me any feedback on the car and he ignored my emails. I requested the sales man who was always willing to provide feedback to inform the manager that I would like another brand new car as I was not willing to take a faulty car back, one that is supposed to be brand new with such a major defect, repaired or not, I did not want it back. My request was ignored by the manager which led me to contact my lawyer who got involved. I then sent Renault Centurion a letter requesting termination of the car deal as I was unhappy paying for a car I did not have. Withing a week, the manager called me to let me know they will cancel the deal if I pay over R10 000 (>R7000 for usage and >R3000 for their re-stocking). I was willing initially to pay this amount so I can get rid of that car. Worse is the dealership claims that "power steering fault" has never occured on any of the Renault cars, so HOW CAN I BE EXPETCTED TO TRUST THEM TO REPAIR SOMETHING THEY HAVE NEVER HAD TO REPAIR/ INEXPERINECED. Standard bank which funded the vehicle finanace was willling to terminate the deal provided Renault Centurion requests them to do so.

The problem was the Renault manger changed their story and told my lawyer that they needed the car documens frst before they can requests the bank to cancel the deal. They clearly knew that Standard bank wouldnt release the car documnets unless the debt is fully paid. Where was i supposed to get such a huge lump some to get my car documents released.

I then spoke to another Renault Centurion employee who assured me (after 2 months of not having the car), that my car has been fully repaired, the whole power steering system has been replaced. So I ended up being forced to go and fetch my vehicle. The manager was also threatening a R150 charge for every day the car was not collected afetr supposedly repairing it. So I was forced to fetcht the car, I was told the fault will never occur again on collection. Within a day of collection, the car had a new error "hill assistance" and then the "power steering fault" occured the day after again, this was after they said it will never occur again. I called into the dealership and informed them. They came to fetch the car agian.

This is the 3rd installment that I will be paying on a car that I have never owned. I want Renault to give me a brand new car or cancel the deal wihout charging me extras. It is not my fault that they gave me a faulty car, I cant be expected to pay so much money for something which they caused to satrt with. The Consumer Protection Act says I have the rigt to exercise my right to return fault goods at a full refund. Yesetrday the mechanic working on the car gave me an update. He said they still dont know the source of the power steering fault. So should I continue paying for a car I dont own???? I DONT WANT THAT CAR ANYMORE...I WANT MY REFUND/ CANCEL THE DEAL,, OR REPALCE IT WITH A BRAND NEW CAR.

Renault has made me very unhappy. Renault has caused me enough depression over this car...I am tired, I will never recommend a Renault car to anyone.
