Poor service
I'm writing this on behalf of my mother. Social media is our last resort, we have contacted the managers and Renault South Africa, we received dismal replies and weak excuses.
Her Renault 2019 duster went in for its 30 000 km service. She was contacted and told they found water in the oil. This was in December. A month later and weak excuses still nothing was done. After two months she finally received her car. Before getting her car she went to her house in Western Cape.
She told the dealer before hand she is going to the western Cape. Renault Bloemfontein said they will take her car to her. They had the audacity to say it will cost them money because they would have to pay for the person taking the car to sleep over.
After two months she received the car. She received it with an empty fuel tank and an aircon that isn't in working condition.
She went to Renault George and they **** to her and told her that there are cars that is waiting for parts for four months. It feels like because she is a woman they think they can get away with lies. After confronting the person who was the manager about it, he told her a different story and said there were only one car and it has been there for four weeks.
We feel obligated to warn people not to buy Renault cars. The after care after buying a Renault is none existing. I want to say the service is pathetic, but there is no service.
Neither me nor my family will ever consider buying a Renault.
