Poor service and unfair treatment
I bought a brand new car (Renault Kadjar 1.6 DCI dynamic) with Renault Menlyn in May 2016, after six months the car couldn't adjust to any of the gears but instead was reversing, while the the 15 000 km service was being conducted 26th October 2016 . The same dealer kept the car for a month and two weeks but the courtesy car was issued after three weeks of poor service and the clutch kit, slave cylinder and fly wheel were replaced covered on warranty.
On October 2017, prior to the 45 000km service the car struggled to accelerate forward and also adjusting gears then the Centurion dealer replaced the timing belt which was loose and damaged and also covered on warranty.
The devastating moment was when the initial problem with the car recurred on the 21st December 2017 and it was towed to Zambezi dealer, where I was quoted an amount of R15 773.50 to replace parts due to unknown millage of 80 621 km (screenshot) which was not corresponding with the service history . Yet, to this far not courtesy car was issued & severely inconvenienced during festive season and currently experiencing difficulties of transport to work.
The car was only given attention (13/01/18) only when I make mentioned escalating the matter to Ombudsman then Customer Care (Lebo More) whom was the president of Renault assigned (09/01/18) to attend to my complaint after unsuccessful assistance from their unattended Call Centre with the case logged on the 28th December 2018. On the 15th January 2018, the same person called just to smooth-talk me that they'll replace the part and issue back to me, yet I've mention to them that they should keep their product and refund me all amount paid to them.
